A U.S. stuntman miraculously escaped after falling more than 300 meters.
The 27-year-old Christopher Ryan Brewer suffered injuries to the spine, lungs and pelvis after he jumped off New River Gorge Bridge in Virginia.
The parachute malfunction jeopardized seriously the life of the jumper, however his wingsuit slowed down the fall and therefore saved his life.
The man hit the water surface at a speed of about 100 km / h, after his parachute did not open in time.
The incident took place at Bridge Day, an annual festival that attracts over 100,000 visitors and around 400 jumpers.
